Take a step back in time at the Main Street Pub & Grill in Bancroft, Iowa! We have a full bar and menu to satisfy your taste. Feel free to stroll around the large bar, the dining room, and our party room - there's so much to see and do! Walk in past the old fashioned street lights (indoors!) and stroll down the indoor street representing Bancroft stores from 1900.
Enjoy games? We have a roomy area for our pool table and foosball table. Play for tickets to use in our pub on a Vegas style gambling machine. Music and a large TV entertain those who want to sit and spend time with friends or just get away from the everyday hustle.

Grill is closed 2p-4p, Wed through Sun, bar remains open
Who We Are
We are a family business which includes John & Jan Hellman and Eric & Tammy Peterson. We remodeled the old department store in Bancroft, which was built in 1898. We were able to save the original tin ceiling, hardwood floor, and brick wall. Work began July 5th, 2007, and we opened for business October 22nd, 2007. It was a very busy summer and fall!
The end of 2009 saw Tammy and Eric leave the business, and her brother - Ernie Eldridge took over as Manager. John & Jan ( Tammy & Ernie's mother) Hellman continue as owners .
